The New York Manufacturing Extension Partnership (NY MEP) today announced new programs to provide critical services to small and mid-sized manufacturers as they adapt to changing market conditions amidst the coronavirus pandemic. The Chief Executives Network for Manufacturing (CEN) is sponsoring a Capital Region Manufacturing Re-Start Program in partnership with CEG’s Business Growth Solutions Team. This program will help companies – especially manufacturers – review, understand, and achieve compliance with the necessary steps to operate under recommended guidelines in light of the COVID-19 pandemic. Businesses in each region will re-open in phases. Re-opening refers to non-essential businesses and business activities. Essential businesses and business activities that are open will remain open.
The guidelines below apply to both non-essential businesses in regions that are permitted to re-open and essential businesses throughout the state that were previously permitted to remain open.
Eligibility for reopening will be determined by health metrics for each region.

20th Annual CEN Scholarship Golf Day Cancelled > PLEASE SUPPORT SCHOLARSHIP APPLICANTS!
It is with regret, that we announce the 20th Annual CEN Golf Outing will not be held this year due to COVID-19. It simply is not practical at this time given the distancing regulations and interaction rules for golfing.
However, we are asking for donations! This year, we have received more than 16 scholarship applications – there is so much need with the economic crisis – every family is likely to be impacted in some way.
